All nationals of foreign countries residing in or visiting The Bahamas must hold valid national passports. Exceptions are for visiting citizens of the US, Canada, the UK and its colonies, who may offer other acceptable proof of citizenship.

Visitors from EU member countries and South Africa do not require a visa for stays up to three months in the Bahamas. UK citizens may stay up to eight months.. Other visitors are required to consult with the Bahamas High Commission (+442074084488) or your nearest Bahamas Tourist Office. Application for visas may be made at the British Consulate.
