with fabrics, jewellery, woodcarvings, and guava jellies. Of course,

some are subject to a stamp duty, the following items are 100%
customs duty free:
certain building materials such as portland cement, pressure-treated
lumber, and asphalt shingles; china; crystal; fine jewellery;
leather bags; linens and tablecloths; wine and liquor; perfume,
cologne and toilet water; cameras
and accessories; cashmere sweaters; and watches.Unlike most duty-free ports, The Bahamas does not require proof of foreign residency. Purchases may be carried from the shop or shipped rather than being collected at departure.
